Emaciated black cat Collins Lane
July 19, 2017 is a sad day for us. A medium sized black cat who arrived a few days ago and took refuge at Dani’s outdoor sanctuary, died as she was rushing him to the vet clinic. It was impossible for the vet to know what he died from without an autopsy. He was extremely emaciated and had discharge from his mouth and nose – and he was still intact. He did not seem to be feral, but had obviously been out there for a long time. The only consolation is that he had found somewhere to rest at last and had eaten a meal just before being put into the carrying kennel; just before he died.
If your black unneutered cat has been missing for quite some time, this might have been him. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can all have some kind of closure.
