Harley and Oshie: Beagles

Updated September 12, 2017

Are there any Beagle lovers out there?

Two sweet Beagles, Oshie and Harley, need a good home with a fenced yard by September 28, 2017.

They are good with other dogs. No major health issues except occasional ear infections from floppy ears. Oshie is 7 and he gets the ear infections. Harley is 5.

They are both purebreds from Briarlane Beagles. Harley is traditional coloring and is called a lemon. Harley’s dad is “best in show” (Canadian Kennel Club).

Both are neutered. They are very nice dogs. Harley is more energetic naturally because he is younger, but still very easy to manage. Oshie is quiet and sweet… they stick together all the time.

They will need a potty training refresher. The temporary foster had them in the back sunroom with an open crate and their beds. No accidents in there, but sometimes they would have one in another part of the house when not let out. They are pee pad trained.

They really don’t get walked much at home, but when foster had them for a couple of days and they were exercised, they were very good. They are not chewers. And they are not excessive barkers, but they do bark. They are used to children.

The foster has found out that they both have yeasty ears; the owner has taken them to the vet for medication. The dogs will come with their bedding and whatever medication he has left.

Foster’s note:

Hope this helps… we only had the dogs for a few days to help out while the owner was on a business trip. They are back at home now. The dogs adapted well when they were here.
